Kalkan is a small, stylish harbour town set in a natural amphitheatre surrounded by the dramatic Taurus Mountains.  A short walk down through the maze of cobbled streets past charming, historic  buildings covered in bougainvillea, soon reveals why Kalkan and its friendly people attracts the discerning time and time again.

The shops and restaurants in Kalkan are a wonderful surprise for a town of this size. Whether you want to eat simply or dine elegantly, the roof top or harbour side restaurants are a highlight of any evening. This is when Kalkan is at her significant best.

Kalkan has a small attractive pebble beach, or visitors may choose one of the beach clubs set around this peaceful haven to relax at the waters edge.  In the bay, the clear waters are ideal for all forms of water sports and boats can be hired for fishing, diving or lazy days at sea.

The famous Patara beach (18 kms of sand) is 30 mins from the villa;  dramatic  Kaputas cove, a secluded sandy beach at the foot of a ravine is 5 mins away. The ancient sites of Xanthos, Letoon, Pinara and Tlos are all close by.
